Want to grow your blog traffic with Tailwind Tribes, but you’re just not sure how to get started? This review is for you.
Last spring was the first time I’d made a Tailwind account, and also joined my first Tailwind Tribe. I had joined about 15 tribes and would add content to them maybe a few times a week. Needless to say, I didn’t really have a concrete strategy in place. So when I came across the ebook Tribes for Traffic, I was super curious to see how I could optimize my Tribes game.
Earlier this year I was hanging out in the Facebook group Blogging Newbs and saw a question on how to get the most out of Tribes. One of the commenters mentioned that after reading Tribes for Traffic, she was able to 3x her blog traffic and get an actual strategy in place.
Within the hour I was about 20 pages into the eBook and in the process of creating my very own game plan.

My favorite resource was the tracking spreadsheet to keep track of your highest performing Tribes. This was a game changer for me! I was able to take into account which ones were giving me a good return on my time, and which ones I just had to drop.
After determining my top Tribes, I was able to hone in on them and post to them more regularly. And this led to some awesome results that I’ll be talking more about below. 🙂
Another cool little bonus is that if you love the ebook and see results from it as well, you can join Jen’s affiliate program and make a 40% commission whenever you refer a sale.
Since this ebook came highly recommended in the Facebook group, and this was something I really wanted to learn more about, I didn’t really hesitate to purchase my copy. I normally spend so much time weighing out the pros and cons of buying something and thinking of the expected ROI.
But I was just so excited to start reading that for the first time in a long time, I just skipped right past the overthinking phase. The lower price point also helped out with that. I’m grateful Jen made this ebook affordable for anyone who wants to learn more about Tribes.
What I was expecting
When looking at the sales page, I saw that Jen was able to take her new blog from 0 to 45K page views/month in just 3 months. Which is some really awesome growth!
The best part is that she was able to get those results primarily by using Tailwind Tribes. Unlike Pinterest group boards, Tribes are easy to find and join, plus you can directly see how active they are before deciding to join. So even though Jen didn’t have a huge Pinterest following, she was still able to join relevant Tribes to help grow her blog’s audience.
That said, after reading through my copy, my main hopes were to come out of it with a solid strategy while being introduced to some awesome new Tribes.
After about a month of adding new content to Tribes consistently, I went from averaging 150 views per month from Tribes to my blog to over 1,000 views in one month. I believe I was adding approximately 20 to 30 pins to Tribes per day to my top Tribes during optimized times. In my case, that was in the later hours around 10 PM Pacific time.
After just a month of taking action, I was really happy with these results and am a big fan of Jen’s Tribe recommendations. It definitely works and only took me about 15 to 20 minutes a day to implement.
Tribes for Traffic is super beginner friendly and is a great intro to boosting your page views with Tailwind Tribes. It covers all of the essentials you need to get started and her tracking spreadsheet is gold. I actually took her PDF version and put it into a google excel sheet so that I didn’t have to print anything out.
Whether you’re new to Tribes or just want to set a strategy in place, Tribes for Traffic is an awesome ebook that can really help you up your Tribes game and increase your page views. I highly recommend it and consider it one of my favorite Pinterest resources right now.
